Alexandra Sanchez

Alex Sanchez (she/they) is a Research Coordinator at the Lawrence Hall of Science. In this role, they support research and evaluation studies through instrument design, data collection, and data analysis. Her research interests lie in science education that centers marginalized communities, community knowledge, and pluralist science. Related to this, they bring a perspective informed by transnational feminist thought and critical race theory. They are proud to have been a part of the Improving Practice Together project and its goal in creating a sustainable community of teacher leaders skilled in scientific argumentation.
