Research and Findings on Our Research Practice Partnership

The Research and Evaluation Team documented the dynamics of the Research Practice Partnership while simultaneously engaging as contributing members within the partnership. Data were collected through meeting notes, interviews, and reflection memos. Below, we share some preliminary findings and reflections on the three-way research practice partnership.

Using a Design-Based Implementation Research (DBIR) approach, this paper reflects on the efforts of the Research Practice Partnership (RPP) to adapt and implement the PRACTISE professional learning model in the school district, in alignment with the district’s needs and goals.

In this poster, presented at the 2020 virtual meeting of the American Evaluation Association, the Evaluation Team reflected on the challenges of defining a role for evaluators within a three-way Research Practice Partnership.
