The Research and Evaluation teams developed observation and recording protocols to collect data about the enactment and outcomes of professional learning. The observation protocol is also used to provide timely and actionable feedback to the professional learning facilitators.
Observational Note-Taking Tool
The Research and Evaluation teams developed an observation tool and recording protocol to collect data about the intended outcomes of the leadership development experiences, the activities that comprised those experiences, and the observers’ thoughts and questions.
At least two researchers observed every professional learning activity to take notes, photograph artifacts, record videos, etc.
