Session 16: Using Argumentation Continuum

SESSION OVERVIEW 

This session introduces participants to the Argumentation Continuum as a tool that can be used to map student progress toward independent argumentation and to identify their needs. They use the tool to debrief the FOSS activity modeled in the past session and to discuss a video of classroom argumentation. As part of the classroom video reflection they consider next steps to better support the students.
